Wood white Leptidea sinapis

Robert Callf and Robin White came across this wood white near the "Barracks" by Vicarage Farm, in the Oakwood area of Enfield on 22nd May 2000. Robert has been scouring this obscure area for many years without seeing any wood whites - where this butterfly came from is pure speculation. Status - probably no known breeding population in the LNHS area, very few recent records in neighbouring areas, and then only of singles.
